A: The majority of Sunshine containers are made with polypropylene (PP) plastic, known for preserving freshness and taste, delaying evaporation and dehydration and being resistant to fats and organic solvents. Our hinge containers are made with a talc-filled PP plastic for enhanced stiffness and strength. In addition, some of our containers are made with polystyrene (PS) plastic. Regardless of the container style, all Sunshine containers are made with organic plastics that are BPA free and recyclable.

A: Sunshine products are produced in China at our own manufacturing plant, Guangzhou Yimei Plastic Products Co., Ltd., and shipped to our distributor locations across the United States, making it easy for customers to connect with a local distributor for cost savings.

A: Yes! All Sunshine containers are 100% recyclable.

A: Due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic on supply chains, products that are out of stock have a lead time of 90-120 days.

A: Our anti-fog containers are designed with micro-hole ventilation on their lids to preserve culinary presentation and food temperature without fogging the container.

A: No, our hinge containers are made with polypropylene (PP) plastic and talc, making the material opaque. This means they do not have the clear transparency of our anti-fog containers, which are made with polystyrene (PS) plastic.

A: While Sunshine containers can be hand-washed and reused, they are not dishwasher safe.

A: Yes! Sunshine containers are microwave safe and can be heated to temperatures up to 230°F.

A: Yes! Sunshine containers can be stored in temperatures as low as –22°F.

A: The My Quote tool works similarly to an online shopping cart. Simply shop the Sunshine Supply website by adding items to your quote. A: If a distributor is unable to sell our product in a reasonable amount of time, Sunshine will offer a full refund. If a restaurant receives a faulty shipment, we will either replace the faulty case or cases or will provide a full refund upon request.

A: Yes, you can! We simply ask that you pay the cost of shipping for your free samples. If you do choose to then place an order, we will reimburse you for the sample shipment cost.

A: Depending on the carrier, there may or may not be several ways to receive shipping updates on your order. Services such as FedEx offer tracking numbers for shipments, while other carriers may not. Check with our team to understand the means of your carrier service and see if shipment tracking is an option for your order.

A: We do! However, customers of international orders must cover their own shipment costs separate from the distributor price and, depending on the location, may or may not have to find their own overseas carrier.

A: When placing a first order with us, the cost of the shipping will be credited back to the first order placed.
